Role of Women in Indonesian Tourism

Due to the International Women's Day, I searched for interesting material in the net. Look what I found:

The involvement of women in the tourism industry of Bali, Indonesia

To be honest, this article is from 1996. I wonder how the situation has changed in Bali...

(Incidentally, I think that global warming must be defeated)

Hello! I found this article: Tajeddini, Kayhan & Ratten, Vanessa & Denisa, Mela. (2017). Female tourism entrepreneurs in Bali, Indonesia. Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management. 31. 52–58. 10.1016/j.jhtm.2016.10.004.  https://www.researchgate.net/publication/310649286_Female_tourism_entrepreneurs_in_Bali_Indonesia which states that "Female tourism entrepreneurs are a growing segment of the hospitality industry in Bali due to their involvement in food stalls and small restaurants." In addition, "The findings from this paper will help other tourism entrepreneurs how to develop their businesses using limited resources and financial capital but also provide suggestions about how female entrepreneurs can succeed in the globally competitive tourism industry."

That's a great finding, thanks, Lara, for quoting this. Excellent contribution!
