Phuket is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a City of Gastronomy. It is undeniable that the prosperity of the tourism industry over the past decades, in addition to the beauty of the beaches and sea that attracts tourists, is also a local recipe. A combination of "Community Based Tourism" and "Gastronomy Tourism" as "Localicious = Local+Delicious" is one of the sustainable destination management where our PSU Phuket TOURIST competence centre are working on it with our stakeholders towards sustainable menu with local products at Baan Mai Khao community. It is located in the North of Phuket where are next to the National Park.

Launaea Sarmentosa used to be our local favourite vegetable because it was organically found along the beachside in Phuket. It helps reducing hot-in and solve constipation.

That's extremely nice - and something what I totally miss from Thailand: vegetarian food. In our region, unfortunately, they learn so slow and keep on resisting to the growing demands of customers changing needs about vegetarian food. Soth Eastern Styria is an old traditional "pig" country... We had the experience that traditional farmers also did extremely hard in adapting to CoVid by using direct-selling chances. The level of digital literacy is extremely low here... Yes, sustainable development has a lot to do with competence raising...

Ceterum censeo mutationem climae esse vincendem.

(Incidentally, I think that global warming must be defeated)
